Everyone cites the All-Star Game and Olympics as their potential chemistry, but those are completely different scenarios. I do believe that they're probably the three biggest egos in the NBA right now (except AI and Shaq, maybe).
Poor NY, signing Amare... what's he going to do without a Hall of Fame PG setting him up and spacing out the floor for him? Probably a whole lot of nothing. I heard some rumors about a trade for Gilbert Arenas, but who knows.
Dallas can finally get rid of one of the most overpayed centers of all time in Erick Dampier. They resigned Brendan Haywood and have some pieces and cap space to make a significant move or two. The local buzz is about getting Ray Allen...
Lakers are still my favorite to win it all - They've added a solid PG in Steve Blake and PJ, the best coach in NBA history, is back on the bench. Showdown with Miami would be epic, but the Lakers did beat a stacked Celtics team with Kobe playing (relatively poorly) through multiple injuries, and no one really consistently stepping up.

His post game and short range game is pretty hard to defend against and he'll get business taken care of in the paint. However, Now that the heat have fuck all money left for a center which they should be spending on (no poitn getting a point gaurd cause wade and lbj can just handle the rock) they're pretty fucked cause theres no quality center left or in their price range. The lakers front court will still destroy them. Their bench is is pretty empty for now too. Even if they build 10-15 point leads everynight they're just gonna watch it slip away while they are resting.
