YES GODZ DALLAS GOGO
I don't think there's enough support for the Mavs to call it a bandwagon just yet; maybe if they go on to beat the Spurs in 4 or 5 games. I do think this is the best team we've ever had, and with Butler and Marion we finally have guys to match up against Kobe, Carmelo, or potentially LeBron in the finals.
The thing is, Dallas is kind of inconsistent as a whole. We have a LOT of great players, but offensively they rarely perform well collectively on a single night.
My predictions for the first round:
LA/OKC - LA in 6. OKC will be a madhouse, I fully expect them to win both at home. Kobe can basically singlehandedly prevent them from stealing any in LA.
DAL/SA - DAL in 6. As a Mavs fan for a decade now I'd love to see the sweep, but you can't expect Manu and Tim to go down that easy.
PHX/POR - PHX in 5. Great stolen game by Portland in G1, but I don't see them winning another game.
DEN/UTA - DEN in 7. Denver needs to attack the rim more. Deron Williams is like the next JKidd and will drag it out to 7.
CLE/CHI - CLE in 5. Chicago will probably take one at home.
ORL/CHA - ORL in 6. Too much Dwight Howard.
ATL/MIL - ATL in 6. Atlanta has had the same focus problem as Denver, but Milwaukee simply can't win more than two with so much reliance on Jennings. I don't know why everyone is giving him so much credit - his FG% was horrendous throughout the season.
BOS/MIA - BOS in 7. I'm expecting some miraculous, 'I don't give a fuck' domination games from DWade, but the rest need to step it up.
I'll probably regret some of these but oh well.

But I don't mind, when I've got you next to me.
