Sigh, this shopping list is getting bigger than I originally budgeted for. Does the brand of heatsink matter? Or can i just get the cheapest one out there because it's gonna be better than whatever comes stock with the cpu?
That makes me think I should get a naked cpu instead of one that comes with a heatsink. Crap, do I need more fans?

If it all possible get an OEM CPU, you don't need that garbage HSF that comes with it. Unless the price is right of course. There are a lot of popular brands out there. Zalman, Tuniq, Thermaltake, Coolmaster, Scythe are a few. You should probably spend around $40-$45 on a good heat sink and fan.
