The screen shakes violently, and the camera flies up giving a far away birds eye view of the Hero. A large red demonic circle (Like, one of those epic circle runes used for summoning) appears under the Hero and begins to glow brightly. (Dunno what Hero this would work with, or even if it works, but we'll see.)

The Hero makes some roaring physical animation, or could cast Bloodlust on themselves, and as the Bloodlust appears so would a large Ethereal form of the Hero, around the Hero. (Like a big form of whatever Hero is casting it, would then be an ethereal image encasing it, BIG one. And would follow any action the Hero did for X amount of time, and give high bonuses.) You could give the ethereal form glowing firey dark eyes, some mist, buffs or animations to make it look better.

Overall just a big ass summoning spell that creates a large ethereal form of the Hero that is cnostantly around it, copying all it's actions as if it's the hero doing it. If there's also something that could gather spirits or some big light show effect to put in, you could make the big red summoning rune circle then suck all the spirits gravitating in towards it, then summon the massive form of the Hero.

Just, it isn't a unit, you can't click it, and it can't be damaged. It's just a mega buff for the Hero, with some amazing animation on the side. Hope this idea helps.

^ That could work, but the specifications don't allow you to change the camera position. So you wouldn't be able to change it to a bird's eye view, but the rest of your idea is decent.

Right, forgot about that >_>. Though, if anyone's played Devil May Cry 4. Think the Main Character, Nero. + Warcraft. So, you could make it a finisher as do the whole big ethereal form of him all animatedly buffed out, then some big attack to KO something. Or Shins idea, make the Manifested spirit Hero summon some hands from the earth to grab at the Hero, and drag him to the depths of hell
